It’s Tour de France time and I need to admit that I havn’t watched the Tour nearly as much as I’d like to this year. I’m adding the TdF to my Tivo’s “To Do List” but in the meantime, here are some of my favorite cycling ads over the past few years. All notably include Lance Armstrong.
None of them have the view count I would have expected so they’re clearly not quite as viral as some other commercials that have taken advantage of YouTube, but as a fan of cycling (more so riding than watching) they strike an emotional cord for me (note: there are versions with additional views, the total being around 1.5MM for the three – with just a glance, it appears the terms ‘nike commercial’ drive a lot of the initial traffic). The first two, Magnet and “What am I on?”, I find very motivational. Enjoy.
