Mt. Marcy Trip

As a day hike, the trip is 15 miles RT. Information needed on trail head location, campsite/lodge details, etc.

[edit] Example as day hike

  • Friday PM: Drive to VT. Stay at Orchard overnight.
  • Saturday AM: Drive to Mt. Marcy, hike. Stay in local hotel or return to Orchard.
  • Sunday: Return home.

[edit] Example as overnight hike

  • Friday PM: Drive to VT. Stay at Orchard or hotel en route to trailhead.
  • Saturday AM: Drive to trailhead, hike to campsite & leave packs while summiting and returning to camp.
  • Sunday: Hike out and return home.
